Southern Thirty Adolescent Center
If you believe youth should have the opportunity to get on the right track and build better lives for themselves, we invite you to share in the mission of Southern Thirty Adolescent Center (STAC).
STAC is located near Mt. Vernon and is a 30-day emergency shelter care facility for adolescents 11-18. STAC provides day treatment, clinical assessments and counseling, along with emergency shelter care for boys onsite and for girls in foster homes.
Specifically for male youth who live at the facility and are served at STAC 24-hours-a-day. During their stay at STAC, all the youth's nutritional, medical, recreational and educational needs are met.
Foster Care/Day Treatment-Residential Alternatives Program:
Specifically for female residents who live in LCFS licensed foster homes from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. and participate in the day programs at STAC from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The following services are available to youth in both programs:
Crisis intervention, stabilization and transition services
Individual and group counseling
On-site educational services
