The goal of treatment for each Lutherbrook client is to resume family and community living as soon as possible. This is accomplished by helping children grow in self-esteem, self-awareness and their capacity to form meaningful relationships. Treatment is designed to meet the individual needs of the residents. Treatment programs utilize individual, group and family therapy, as well as a highly structured behavior modification program. Lutherbrook uses a team approach that includes credentialed social workers, counselors, marriage and family therapists, child care staff, nurses, teachers, psychologists, art and recreation specialists and consulting psychiatrists.
