President and COO
Mike came to LCFS in 2005 as the Northern Illinois director of children services and has served as executive vice president, the chief of children's services, VP and chief program officer in addition to his current role. He also serves as the president of Lifelink International Adoption.
Mike has more than 25 years of experience in social services that includes leadership positions in the public and private sectors. He is a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Aurora, Illinois.
Mike represents LCFS as the chair of the board for the International Youth Advocacy Federation and as an alternate board member for the Illinois Child Care Association.
Mike has a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Illinois at Champaign/Urbana, a master's degree in social work from the University of Illinois at Chicago and is an Illinois licensed clinical social worker.
