Say Hello to The Development Team
Meet the dedicated professionals that are here to support you in making a difference.
My parents’ best friends, who I still call my aunt and uncle, adopted seven children through LCFS – so I grew up knowing about the organization and the wonderful things they do for families. I’m thrilled to now be a part of that mission.
I absolutely love helping people find ways they can support others through their gifts of time, talent or treasure. Giving should be joyful and it’s a blessing to help people find that joy.
I’m a terrible cook so married wisely. My husband Chris and I love to host gatherings for family and friends on weekends – and Sunday is usually game day (football in the fall – cards and board games the rest of the year). We are blessed with two wonderful daughters and a giant rescue dog named Josie – who is spoiled by the entire family!

I’ve worked at LCFS for my entire professional career. I love knowing that my day-to-day work makes a difference in the lives of Illinois’ most vulnerable children and families.
I’m a people person! My favorite part of my job is meeting and chatting with LCFS supporters. I enjoy learning about why people support LCFS. I’m energized in my role by the generous, passionate people who come together to help others in need.
Outside of the office, I enjoy hanging out with my teenage sons, Ethan and Cole, working out and trying every taco spot in the city and burbs (recommendations are welcome).

Before joining LCFS, I served in Aging Services grant-funded programs for many years. Now, I’m delighted to be able to work in the Child Welfare sector once again. My first social service experience was with CASA of San Antonio. I’m also licensed in social work in Texas and Minnesota.
The favorite part of my job? What could be better than supporting the tireless team of co-workers assisting children and families in need? I’m honored to be a part of, and feel the passion for, the work LCFS represents.
I’m also passionate about spending time with my family and learning about other cultures and ways of life. I’ve travelled to 49 of our 50 states and have been on 6 continents (Maine and Antarctica here I come!)

I worked in the nonprofit sector for more than 25 years before joining LCFS. I get deep satisfaction working with such a dedicated team who are helping struggling Illinois children and families.
As part of LCFS’ development team, I feel rewarded seeing our financial goals come to fruition because of the impact on the lives of children and families. In addition, I have a great admiration for the ongoing generosity of our donors and volunteers.
My family, though small, are my heart and soul. My favorite activity is road trips with my daughter and granddaughter discovering quaint or historical sites along the way. Ask them, and they’ll say their favorite is a trip to Universal Studios in Florida!

I volunteered at LCFS in the marketing department for about a year before becoming the Community Engagement Manager. I was attracted to LCFS after my own journey exploring fostering or adoption. My heart broke learning about kids who had faced trauma and truly needed guardian angels to give them the stability and hope they deserve. I think that’s what LCFS does. Now I get to be a part of helping make sure LCFS has the resources to do the best it can for our state’s most vulnerable children and families.
I have an amazing husband and two teenagers (Olivia and Emmet), and we spend a lot of our free time at their sporting events, entertaining friends, and watching our latest Netflix find. I’m a fan of health food and CrossFit, but also love chocolate and cheeseburgers.
