Develop your creative side at Chicago Uptown Ministry

Chicago’s Uptown community is an eclectic neighborhood that includes people from many different walks of life, including musicians and artists. Uptown residents now have an opportunity to join their creative ranks.
Are you interested in playing the piano? Chicago Uptown Ministry wants to provide Uptown residents with the opportunity to learn the piano and experience the benefits that come with exposure to music. Contact us at 773-271-3760 to learn about our sliding scale rates and to schedule your first lesson. All ages are welcome for these beginning- and intermediate-level lessons.
Do you like to draw, paint or sculpt? Want to create some art that shows the world who you are? Chicago Uptown Ministry supplies the materials, the workspace and mentoring from our volunteer artist. You bring the imagination, creativity and a willingness to release your inner artist. Drop in at Chicago Uptown Ministry for art lessons on Thursdays from 1 to 4 p.m. There is no cost and no reservations are needed.
